This is an excellent little hotel, well run, helpful friendly staff, very clean/comfortable room. Breakfast was good and the onsite restaurant and bar are there for other meals/drinks, if required.
The hotel is located on the R62 itself, but the road was not too busy during our stay and we didn't experience traffic noise at night.
Good value and exceeded our expectations.
Barrydale is a good place to stop in the area and we would not hesitate to stay at the Karoo Boutique Hotel again.
WiFi was sometimes intermittent, but only a very small point in an otherwise perfect short stay.

Breakfast and Dinner were satisfactory, very friendly staff.
The shower curtain should be replaced by a glass door or screen. Larger bath towels will be appreciated. Very friendly staff

Personnel ranged from adequate to excellent.
Facilities ranged from adequate (dining area) to comfy and satisfactory (the room). Bed and pillows very comfy. Aircon a little tired but managed to keep us warm enough
Cuisine and food atrocious. Cheese burger and chips was the order. Burger was covered in some gooey mess of a sauce in which bits and pieces of who knows what were visible. So much sauce, the burger could not be managed by hand. Chips covered in artificial flavouring. Two weeks ago same meal was ordered and delicious. Let's get the old chef back!
