The staff were delightful. The place was clean,, comfortable, the rooms were soundproofed. Being able to park ouside the accommodation was a bonus. The restaurant was really busy, but the staff were great and the food was delicious.
Others were right in saying that the place was a bit dated. Paint was peeling outside, the shutters were difficult to open and close, and you could see daylight all around the door. There was no aircon, just a fan. Given the rising temperatures, it would be preferable to install air conditioning.

Bedroom clean tidy and comfortable. Appeared recently refurbished. On site restaurant not used for breakfast but served excellent evening meals. Staff helpful and friendly.
The shower head a little low for tall people. Surroundings give false impression of how good the hotel is.

Nice peaceful setting in rural location outside the busy town of Saumur. And they served excellent dinner on site so we didn't have to go hunting for restaurants.

Two Caribbean service staff in the bar restaurant were excellent, one of our party has a small issue and the compassion shown was above and beyond was great .
