We had the most fantastic stay at Riad Melhoun! We were on holiday for my birthday but unfortunately got off to a bad start as our flights got cancelled. Mohammed was really kind, helpful and responsive, replying to my messages really quickly and moving our booking for us, which he didn't have to do! He also arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and met us to help with our bags and find the Riad which was only a 2 min walk from where the taxis cancelled drop you off. When we arrived at the Riad, we had a warm welcome with mint tea and some local sweets, and Mohammed showed us around and gave us some helpful advice and recommendations of sightseeing in Marrakech.
Our room was perfect - very clean, cool, the bed was super comfy and a good shower too! I actually thought the room was more spacious in real life than it seems in the photos too.
We enjoyed using the pool and sun loungers on the roof terrace to cool off and relax. The Riad is like a quiet sanctuary away from the busy Medina, and the location is great for sightseeing and exploring.
We were able to choose between having breakfast downstairs inside or on the roof terrace each morning and the breakfast was great! Fresh juice, tea/coffee and a mix of fruit, pancakes, breads, yoghurt etc to choose from.
We also had dinner one evening at the Riad which I would highly recommend! The food was excellent and we had a three course meal of traditional Moroccan food, all freshly prepared from food bought at the market just hours before. It was delicious and probably some of the best food we had during our trip!
Overall, 10/10 experience and already planning to come back and stay here again on a trip with my Mum!

It was absolutely stunning! So tranquil and an oasis after a hot journey. We were greeted by the friendliest of staff. Every single one of the staff welcomed us with a smile and we were escorted to sit ourselves by the pool and enjoy some refreshing tea. Our room was so comfortable, clean and special. The breakfast was also delicious.
Couldn’t fault anything about it.
