We love this little spot! It's become a yearly favourite of ours to stay in Nelson Bay and we always love this motel. The rooms are spacious enough for our family of four. The pool is perfect for little ones and the location is great being that it is a short drive or walk to either Nelson Bay main area or Shoal Bay beaches etc. We love it and highly recommend this motel for young families.

Kitchenware and laundry were great to have. Was very quiet and secure. Was clean. The TV, all the DvDs, even though we didn’t use the DVD player, was nice to have a good collection. Lot of power points throughout, good wifi connection. The lounge was comfortable. Great access to the beaches.
Not enough blankets or thick enough, temperature dropped and even the fleece blankets weren’t thick enough to keep us warm. there was no sponge for cleaning dishes with. Window in the master bedroom rattled a lot as it was windy the second night. The shower edge on the floor needs to be re sealed as the water was leaking out of the shower. So much so that we had to use a mop to clean it all up. Can use a squeegee in the bathroom. There was no hot water.

Location to the beach was fantastic and the kids loved the onsite pool. Kitchen was well equipped and the staff at check in were really friendly. Loved the birds visiting the balcony in the mornings too!
The main bedroom (apartment 8) had an awful smell that made it very unpleasant to be in. The toilet also didn’t flush properly and the hot water ran out before we could all shower. Other guests smoking on their balconies ruined the enjoyment of ours. Second hand smoke is a deal breaker for us so we probably wouldn’t return based on this alone.
