The hotel is in a stunning old building, the staff are amazing, so friendly and always on hand to answer questions/give help. The parking garage is very useful and their courtyard area was lovely to sit out and have a drink in. Rooms are lovely (if a tiny bit 'dated' but that's understandable given the age of the building and I am just being picky). I didn't use the swimming pool, but nice to have it there as an option.
Location wise there are a couple of champagne houses and restaurants within walking distance, but you'll have to drive to places like Epernay, or get a taxi like we did.
Breakfast isn't great in my opinion, could be better.

A lovely building in a perfect location in this charming little town. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice but it was quite pricey.
Our room was tired and outdated. It was a need of a full redecorate and the furniture was very poor. There was no wardrobe just a curtain. It felt like a budget room. After an 8 hour drive we wanted to use the pool which is supposed to be available til 8 pm but the receptionist told us he was going to lock it at 6.30 as he finished work at 7. It was explained to us that the hotel is under new management and is in the process of being renovated but some of the bedrooms hadn’t been done yet. The lady was apologetic and keen for us to return. I feel that as there were so few people in the hotel we should have been given a better room.
