Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Regensburger Altstadt und verfügt im Innenhof über eigene Parkplätze, so dass es für unsere Zwischenübernachtung sehr gut geeignet war. Leider hatte das sehr schöne hoteleigene Restaurant an diesem Tag geschlossen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer im vierten Stock mit einer tollen Aussicht auf den Dom. Leider fährt der Lift wegen des Denkmalschutzes nur bis in den zweiten Stock. Ältere Menschen wie wir sollten dies bei der Buchung berücksichtigen.

The location is the best part about the hotel. The beds were fairly comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower.
I assumed that having a Michelin star restaurant attached, the hotel would be really nice. I should have looked more closely before booking. The worst part is that there's no air conditioning, which was dangerous on the hot days we were there. You can open the window (if you don't mind all the bugs coming in) and they provide a fan, but it wasn't sufficient. Due to the heat and the terrible pillows, we did not sleep well. Wifi worked great, but there are not enough outlets for modern travelers. I realize that in old buildings like this, A/C and outlets aren't a guaranteed commodity. But I didn't consider this before booking and just want to make sure people are informed even though we weren't. The room was also very small and poorly lit.
