Our stay far exceeded our expectations.

Our room was spacious, clean, and was really a self-contained apartment. The room is very close to the airport yet near an area that has everything we needed like restaurants and grocery store. The area is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Our host, Gundy, is truly an amazing person. She truly cares about her guests and their needs. We plan to use her place every time we visit Iceland. By far one of the nicest places we stayed at and we travel quite a bit.

Excellent experience

Beautiful, new property. Easy to get to from airport. Easy checkin early in the morning. Wonderful experience. Owner was very nice and went above and beyond by taking us to the airport to catch a bus to get to downtown Reykjavík. Excellent customer service. Wonderful experience.

Attractive, spacious and clean

The rooms were spacious, attractive and very clean. The owner was very accessible and welcoming. The location was nice because it was a little bit from the downtown area, which made it quieter.

There are no English channels on the TV. (Although the room does not advertise that they have television .... We just assumed it would) The coffee cups were a bit too big for the coffee maker.

Fabulous lodging near Keflavic airport.

Property was clean, and host was easy to communicate with. We arrived very early in the morning however host made sure our check-in was easy. Taxi from airport was not expensive as location is very near.

Delightful guesthouse!

Very clean, comfortable and inviting room in a delightful guest house near the airport. The host went out of the way to make stay perfect. Would definitely stay again. It was good to meet local people and understand why they are regarded as friendly and welcoming.

Very large apartment. Seating area with a TV, table with chairs, comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom. One of the nicest places we stayed in Iceland. Excellent choice.

10/10 for its proximity to the KEF airport, cleanliness of the room and friendly host!

The check in process was smooth and the host was wonderful and super responsive. We had an early morning flight back to US the next day and we flew in from Spain late night and they had clearly provided instructions for check in and when we arrived they had my name on the door and we were quite in for a surprise as the room was extremely clean and huge with comfy beds and kitchen stocks! Will defenitely recommend this to my friends!

Excellent guesthouse

Close to Keflavik airport. Texi at night cost 3900 ISK. The room is clean with all kitchen facilities needed for a comfortable stay (with coffee and tea, you need to bring only milk with you). The shower and toalet are very clean as the rest of the guesthouse. Excellent for a stay before or after flight but also for excursion in the area. This guesthouse is the best value for Money in this area. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Superb

Really nice room. There was a small kitchen with a microwave. The room was big which was great for us to sort our luggage in two suitcases before the flight back home. At our arrival, the owner arranged a drive to the airport for the next (early) morning which was really helpful.

We had some leftovers, so problem for us but if you will not come by car: it's a neighbourhood where there is no restaurant nearby, so you have to walk a bit. So, either come by car or plan ahead to bring some food (or don't mind a walk). And although it seems to be near the airport, it's too far to walk.

Exactly what we were looking for! Close to the airport and good value for money

The room was a great size, clean and very quiet. Was easy to find and not too far from the airport via a short taxi ride. Was exactly what we needed for our early flight the next morning.

Worst experience I've ever had in a guesthouse/hotel

Awful, really really awful. We had very aggressive neighbors in the room next door, that literally threatened us with violence more than once, and tried to break into our room. When we contacted the lady in charge to resolve it, she didn't want anything to do with it and we were left on our own. Never thought I would have to deal with such a thing in a peaceful country like Iceland.

Awesome!!

Great guesthouse next to the airport.. very useful for early flights 😉. Everything well equipped, the room, the shared kitchen and the bathroom! Everything perfect. Small improvement suggested: TV in the rooms! Thanks for hosting us.

Short way to the Airport and the next Shopping possibility. Check in was very easy and it was easy possible to check in later than 8pm.

Close to airport for easy flight. 25 minutes from Blue Lagoon. 40 to the volcano trail.

Clean, nice kitchen to use.

No Tv, one bathroom shower for four rooms.

Very good

Location is very close to the airport and walking distance to a great bakery for breakfast and covid test facility site (this was ideal bc for a 3.5 day trip, we were able to take the test required to enter the US, max 72hrs pre-boarding, right after we quarantined while awaiting the PCR test results taken at the airport to enter Iceland). Short car ride to the Blue Lagoon. The facility was spectacularly clean, the large kitchen completely new and fully equipped with a variety of coffee/tea options. No televisions, but that would've been completely unnecessary anyway. Owner is very kind and informative. There are rooms that have large ocean-view windows (ours, with 2 twin beds, did not).
