Welcome to “Bella Vista on the Guadalupe", an inviting two bedroom, two bath condominium in gorgeous Waterwheel Resort. Conveniently located at ground level, you’ll enjoy easy accessibility and the panoramic views from the most private end unit balcony in the entire complex! Our winter scenery is brimming with wildlife, but our spring season brings leafy shade over the lawn, full of mature Pecan Trees. Gaze at the peaceful lawn and tree-lined river views from the expanded first floor patio or stroll down to the river for fishing, swimming, daydreaming, or to dangle your toes. Bella Vista has a cozy Coffeehouse atmosphere, complete with a wireless high-speed connection for your laptop. You'll want to call Bella Vista on the Guadalupe your home away from home. Perfect for a winter retreat or extreme fun in the Summer. In warm weather, you may want to start your float upriver and drift on down to the best gem on the Guadalupe! See our calendar for available dates! The two pools and four hot tubs are open and available to enjoy year-round. Take advantage of one of the several picnic tables and charcoal grills amidst the expansive lawn. There is plenty of room for running and playing, reading and catching some rays, all within view from your balcony. The towering pecan trees (help yourself to the pecans) and massive cypress trees line the river’s edge. It’s just beautiful! The home is fully stocked with all your basic kitchen needs, all appliances including a dishwasher and microwave, three smart or cable TV’s, fine linens & plenty of soft towels. You'll be surprised by all the little extras, including lawn games, board games, iron & board, hair dryer, blender, crock pot. There is also a full sized washer and dryer. Bella Vista comfortably sleeps six with two luxurious Queen beds, a Queen sleeper sofa and a Twin sleeper sofa. Enjoy the beach style riverside pool (heated in the winter) and hot tub. Our very fun pool has bubbling fountains and shallow area for the little ones and is situated adjacent to the hot tub with a small waterfall feature. Also near the riverside pool is a separate adults-only hot tub. The courtyard pool across the parking lot from the condo includes a cool shaded pool, two hot tubs, a charcoal grill, and tables and chairs. You’ll be walking distance from world-famous Schlitterbahn Water Park (only .4 miles away) and less than one mile from Comal River put-in, or downtown New Braunfels. There are plenty of tube rental outfits to choose from on either the Comal or Guadalupe Rivers, and floating tips, outfitter guide, and walking maps are included in the condo notebook. Check out the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce website for current event and more area information. Try fishing from your own riverbank or the nearby Cypress Bend Park, which has a playground for the kids. Visit our awesome Public Library, numerous area museums and antique shops. Other area attractions include Historic Gruene, Texas (only a few miles away) for live Music, great food, and quaint shopping. For avid shoppers, either Tanger Outlet Mall or the Forum Shopping Center are within 20 minutes drive. Both San Antonio and Austin are easy drives but you may want to explore the lovely Hill Country towns of Wimberley and Fredericksburg if you plan an extended stay. *** Dogs are welcome, 2 max, for $25/night pet fee. Condo was very clean with a lot of attention to details that made our stay easy! The surrounding neighborhood is a little run down, but once you get inside and look out at the grounds and amenities, it’s good! My husband enjoyed fly fishing in the river and even caught a couple ( and threw them back of course).

I am glad we chose this location. Where our river access was, was great. It had a short section with a strong current, swimming area, sitting area. It was very nice. Home was clean and had everything we needed.

There were 6 of us total. Kids ages 13-21, 2 adults and 2 dogs. Great corner unit, porch was great!Perfect amount of sleeping space, easy walk to the river, pool and grills. Great layout of the house! All of the essentials and the comforts of home. Suzanne was quick to respond and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Everything was very well stocked and organized. We even had all the little essentials you need in the kitchen to make a good breakfast. Since it is a corner unit, this is one of the only quiet/private units at Waterwheel. Great place to enjoy with friends and family!

Suzanne has a beautiful and lovely home. We fell in love with this condo since our arrival. Corner condo makes it very private and it’s in a prime location. Close to both pools, views to the shady beautiful gardens and close to the river. Entrance to river is perfect, quiet but some current too so you have a little of both. Everyone in the community was very friendly and always quiet, no loud noises and great family vacation spot. Dog had an amazing time at the river and playing on the grounds. We played games at the bbq benches as well as enjoyed the patio in the morning with a cup of coffee. The condo is equipped with everything you might need including books and board games, didn't have enough time to enjoy all the amenities but looking forward to come back soon. Book this corner condo, you won’t regret it.

I usually only rent condos with a water view, but the reviews were so good. The view of the grounds was so beautiful and it's a corner unit so really private. Extremely comfortable and it has everything you need. We will definitely rent again!

Wonderful condo. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and has thought of everything to make your vacation perfect. The pools and hot tubs were very nice and the property backed up to the Comal River. Staying here, you are five to ten minutes from everything. This condo will be my go to place every time I’m in New Braunfels

Loved the location of this two bedroom condo. Close to San Antonio, Gruene, San Marcos and Austin. The condo was very clean and comfortable and matched the pictures! The pools and hot tubs were wonderful and we saw deer every day of our stay! Suzanne was very responsive and quick to respond to any questions I had! The only downside was construction going on to the next property over, where a couple of the days there were loud noises starting at 8am.

I brought my family to New Braunfels to enjoy a few days at Schlitterbahn. I found this condo on VRBO 2 days before we left and it was perfect for what we needed and so much more convenient than a hotel room. With 2 tween girls it was nice to have 2 full bathrooms so we were able to get ready to go places quickly. Having a full kitchen made having breakfast and packing a lunch simple and easy. Even the washer and dryer was helpful, so nice to be able to wash and dry towels and swimwear after a long day at the water park. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, we had no problems getting in. She even gave me her phone number if we needed it. Everything was very clean when we arrived and there were plenty of towels and washcloths for all of us to use for several days. The condo is a short walk to the Guadalupe river. We brought tubes but didn’t need them, the owner has tubes you can use in the closet off the front porch…..she has thought of everything you might need! Schlitterbahn is less than half a mile away and there are lots of fabulous local restaurants to choose from. If you are a burger fan, we highly recommend Muck and Fuss! If you are looking for a vacation rental, go ahead and book this one. You won’t find a more reasonable deal! We plan to return next summer!

It was easy to get to of of the Interstate. The location was great...just a few blocks walking from Schlitterbahn and fun restaurants & bars. Sweet neighbors (deer). Amenities very good. Well stocked kitchen. Have already recommended to friends and will definately be back.
