I loved the lodge and the staff was very friendly. Laura was awesome!! She totally took care of me.
As a plant based eater, I found the breakfast lacking. It would have been nice to have some plant based milks and yogurts for the cereal and with the fruit. Other plant based protein would be nice, like tofu.

Laura is amazing manger she helped us with information for transportation
Silvia took care of the room and every day she created different animals with the towels and blankets
The breakfast was delicious and the beautiful resort has plenty of birds to see
It’s a beautiful place to visit and stay.
Marvin and Wilfred were very nice staff too.

Excellent breakfast and overall good service. We even got upgraded to a bigger room due to Booking.com’s Genius status. The owner helped us organize laundry service which was done overnight.
If you’re a light sleeper, this hotel might be a bit too noisy because you can really hear everything from the hallway. Also because of the way the rooms are designed (bathroom with glass door), the light from the hallway is visible from the room.

Great place to see with fantastic view of the volcano. It’s clean with nice breakfast! The staff are great especially the lady behind reception, what a character and so helpful! Yes, it’s a walk from the main bit (20-25mins) but we didn’t have a car and it didn’t bother us. Ubers are extremely quick and cheap and plentiful.
