I’d like to leave a review of my trip to Shanghai with my mom and share the incredible level of service we received at Park Hyatt Shanghai.
The hotel’s height, beautiful design, and excellent location are things anyone can learn about before booking. But what you can’t know in advance is the genuinely personal approach to every guest, the kindness of the staff, and, most importantly, the way our problems were solved without us having to worry about them ourselves.
We would especially like to recognize Lucas, who helped arrange the delivery of our passports and cash that we had accidentally left in another city. He kept us updated throughout the entire process, stayed in touch regarding the shipment, the hotel covered the transportation costs while we were away on our cruise, and contacted us to let us know that our passports and money had arrived safely and were being securely stored until our return.
We were truly impressed by the dedication of the entire team, and especially by Lucas, who handled one issue after another with complete calmness and professionalism, as if resolving them was just as important to him as it was to us.
We are returning to the hotel today, and we’re genuinely disappointed that we won’t be able to see him because it’s his day off. We hope the hotel’s management knows what an outstanding employee they have. He is responsible, thoughtful, and makes guests feel genuinely cared for.
Unfortunately, because it was very late in the evening when another staff member helped us purchase our train tickets, I didn’t manage to remember his name. He carefully explained which railway station we would depart from in Shanghai and which station we would arrive at in Huangshan, making sure we understood everything. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to him for his patience and kindness.
Thank you for making this trip so special and memorable.
That we had to leave the hotel because our vacation came to an end :)
