The entrainment,
The staff was friendly.
The grounds were well kept.
The bathroom, it leaked every time it was used .
The toilet bowl was a bit too close to the wall.

the entertainment staff was amazing! especially guve a shout out to Crazy G and kassy they goe above and beyond to get guests to have fun!!! everyone was very friendly
no shuttle like it says but taxis always available whenever u go down!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunscape over New Years ! The property is clean, the beachfront was amazing, the snorkeling along the wall was good. We did get a car and traveled around the island and while other beaches were beautiful, they were SO packed ( holiday season and cruise ships) and it made me appreciate our resort beachfront. We did have to get up early to reserve the oceanfront palapas, but otherwise there are plenty of loungers and adequate shade. You are 5-10 mins walk to Mambo beach. We had an ocean view room in the 8000 building and we had no issues with AC or plumbing. Room was cleaned daily. The bartenders were cranking out drinks ( we never really had to wait that long for a drink) . The food at the specialty restaurants was good (Italian , Seafood, Grill, Japanese) and they had a great New Year’s Eve party! Note: You need to physically make a reservation for Japaneses restaurant the day of , the lady was outside between 8AM-11:30, all other restaurants are on a “wait” system.
The breakfast buffet was good but lunch and dinner buffet seemed to be a bit repetitive, we ate every dinner at the specialty restaurants. The menu at the restaurants is not extensive and if you get there late, they may run out of certain entrees. One speciality restaurant seemed to be closed each night and they would rotate. The wait times can also be long to get seated at peak times so if you are high maintenance picky person, you may be bothered. It didn’t bother us…

Good location
I made a reservation for a King room, then I got upsold to a Sam's Club King. At check-in, I asked the check-in lady to confirm that it was a King. She did. When I entered the room, it was Double. I went back, asking for a King (since it was my reservation). They apologized and promised to correct it the next day. Nothing happened the next day or the day after. Not Cool, Sunscape. It was unprofessional.
