Great Location within popular old town market ๐. Many tourists visit for local food.
Walking distance to the palace.
While the building is old, owner Mr Lee personally keeps room clean and furnished thoughtfully per pictures.
He speaks decent English too.

I really liked the location because it was close to two of the big palaces of Seoul and directly next to a cool street food market. It was clean and the check in was really easy. You can get basically amywhere from there using the underground. If you like drinking there are some cool bars in walking distance.
Although I can't complain for the price I wasn't happy that the was no real shower space or little bath tub but that you just had to stand next to the toilet on the floor to shower so the water just spilled everywhere.

Location: walking distance from many interesting parts of the city (Palace, Insadong). There is a market just next for amazing street food and plenty of restaurant options, late-night shops and even 24h shops. The staff is very responsive and helpful.
My room was on the 5th floor and there was no elevator, so it was a bit painful to bring my suitcase up as I have back problems. If you have problems with stairs or carrying heavy lugagge, contact the place to tell them to assign you a room on the lower floors.

- they allowed me to checkin 01:30h in advance
- good internet speed
- they provided umbrellas for raining days
- the room has everything you need, like a flat
- the shower is located in a very small toilet. So, it gets wet everywhere when you take a shower. Impossible to use the toilet after, with all wet;
- dirty everywhere. On the pillow, above the door, on wallโฆ
- the garbage room is horrible. I had to put the trash there and it was nasty. Mosquitos and a complete mass. Really not good to see such dirty close to your room - I imagined the rats, flies and all bugs that could be around
- there were mosquitos in my room, during the 2 nights
