Great choice of ales, great sausage rolls, friendly staff, retains the feel of a good ol’ British pub.

The room was very clean and tidy for the price nice to see coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge and towels overall a present stay for the money
The door handle/lock mechanism didn’t want to open initially but did after a couple of attempts due to excessive play.toilets could do with a little TLC broken tiles on the floor boxing in by sink flaking plaster on the landing (tried not to be to critical as property maintenance and refurbishment was my business)

The window in my bedroom was very very small and it could not be opened very much so the room was very very hot all night
The parking was up the road from the pub in a nearby hotel

"Pleasant staff , lovely welcome , nice clientele in bar area , sports on all evening on multiple tv , rear room only, front bar was quiet and pleasant, nice bedrooms and comfy beds
