We’re coming here for many years. Personal is stil very helpful and attent although it is now Best Western in stead of prior one. BW has upgraded the hotel with love for the location and is very good located in city center and quick connections with Stockholm and nature surrounded in Uppsala for making hikes and swimming in the lake etc.

Great breakfast buffet with a lot of healthy choices and great quality! Room was nice - no complaints. Located within walking distance of major attractions of Uppsala. Also very close to bus stop. Nice view of the cathedral from my room. Reception staff was very helpful. They let me borrow an adapter to charge my devices!
There was no room maintenance during the 3 days I stayed. It didn't bother me that much really, because I appreciate privacy, but I guess I was secretly hoping that somebody would come and take care of the room.

For a small hotel, the breakfast was good. When I asked the receptionist about providing decaffeinated tea, that afternoon there was Camomile tea on the tea stand.
The location is great- 10 min walk from the station, less than a minute to the cathedral and afew minutes up to the castle.
Would have liked blackout curtains as the light woke me up very early.
