We took an economy room, and it was great! Simple, but clean. Nice view from the window. Super happy with our stay!

The location could not be better! It was right where you want to be! Walk to everything worth seeing.

Great staff and location

Staff was super helpful and location is great. Close to center but not too close.

Nearby pub throwing out bottles in the trash bin at 6am.

I recommend this hotel for business travelers or couples

This hotel is very nice. It is located not far from the center, near the park and one of the main sight- the cathedral. The hotel is in an old building, but inside everything is quite modern. There are some numbers in honor of famous people in Sweden. My was named by Sweden poetess Karin Boye. The rooms themselves are restrained, concise, but with a pleasant atmosphere. Good breakfast, wonderful back yard with tables overlooking the cathedral.

Superb

Breakfast was plentiful, room cozy and comfortable, the staff friendly, and altogether the stay was very pleasant. The best thing about the hotel was the quiet but central area that it is located in.

No dislikes at all.

not good

the personal is not kind. the man that works as recepcionist was very unpolite our Room was not cleaned even when we asked for this. the breakfast in the hotel is good

Very kind staff and the Deco is tasteful. The breakfast and coffee machine are excellent.

Good Value for Money, Very Nice Staff

Location, breakfast, facilities, warm sheets, view, staff I had some issues with the door on my first and last days but I got through them because the receptionists were very nice and helpful.

Great all in all, a very sweet and boutique place with a great view of the cathedral from some rooms!

beautiful location and lovely atmosphere. Very helpful staff and nice breakfast.

Parking was a bit difficult. We didn’t specifically request parking as we thought it was included (perhaps be a bit clearer on this procedure), but did try to book on the spot. However we were told the lot was full already, only there were a few spaces empty for the whole evening, night and morning we stayed?

Very convenient for the visit to the university

Very close to the university if you're visiting the university for work. The check-in was really easy and they sent thorough instructions via text message.

The facility is a bit old.

Perfect stay for few days in Uppsala

Almost everything was perfect especially for the price: size, staff, location, breakfast, decoration....I would 100% recommend and come back for a short stay in Uppsala.

1 big con: very uncomfortable pillows 2 small ones: shower pressure and not many TV channels

Very nice staff and location. Good value for the money.

The breakfast is fine, but since I don’t eat meat, I would have liked some eggs or some fish like salmon or herring for protein. Otherwise, perfect.

Rude staff and rundown and dirty room

Good position, but definitely the room was not worth the price.

Basically everything: the room was fading and dirty and I found some hair both in the toilet and on the duvet. The worst part was the staff behaviour: when I went to the reception to tell them about the problem, the guy at the reception seemed very upset, came to the room and "cleaned" with a tiny towel and a sprinkle. He did not even apologize for the problem! I would have expected at least some excuses, if not a new room. They are undertaking some room renovations, and clearly the room they gave me was not yet renovated. It would have been better for them not to put on the market that room at all. And they would really need to find nicer staff.

very nice hotel, perfect location for visiting the main site of Uppsala university. Clean and comfortable room, although not exceptional. Very tasty breakfast.

Good place to stay in Uppsala!

I stayed in a double room with my wife, everything was good. We liked that we could use the kitchen for free chocolate drinks and water all day. The WIFI was excellent.

Although the double bed was comfy, it wasn't one large single bed, but two beds with a gap in the middle. The breakfast was average, some of the boiled eggs were too soft and there was no chocolate spread or honey. The hotel is located a bit uphill, which is good to see the castle and the botanical gardens, but not so good for trips to the city center.
