Excellent location, right by the beach! Staff were friendly and there was also option to use the surfboards and bicycles for free!
Has a full kitchen, clean with plenty of utensils available, and a lovely social/lounge area with pool tables and other activities.
The bed/rooms were okay for the price, but certainly I have stayed in other YHAs that have better facilities - for example only have 2 powerpoints, and one small fan for the whole room wasn't great. Especially for a hot night.
The building lacks some infrastructure for use as a hostel - there was only 2 toilets and 2 showers on my floor, both were mixed gender, and both quite old. One of the toilets was disgustingly clogged and unusable. I prefer the YHAs that have large, modern shower blocks available.
