Great place. The manager was busy when checking in, so he told us to go to the restaurant bar and get our free welcome drink. Great service, friendly, helpful staff. Nice property, goog pool and environment. Restaurant and bar on site. Very good place to stay and relax. Good free Tico and North American style breakfast. We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was marvelous. Large room with a king bed, AC and basic amenities. The Gem was the outdoor balcony seating area facing the beautiful, jungle like view. Very private and relaxing. Located about 40 meters from the pool area and restaurant, buffered by nature. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Kitchen staff and food were excellent. This is an older establishment that reflects the character and culture of Costa Rica. Every effort was made to accommodate guests and provide a relaxing stay.
The driveway up the hill was a challenge for drivers. Cushions in patio chairs were past their prime.

Nice room with AC and good breakfast.
The pool had a green hue so we did not use it. The location is only accesible by car so if you travel without it find a different hotel. The food in the restaurant is very overpriced.
