The location was excellent. Breakfast was very good and items replenished promptly.
Storage for bags and clothes was well provided. Parking was ample and the proximity to a good local restaurant after a long journey most welcome
No facility to make a drink.
The single bed toppers moved and became dangerous.
The charging points for phones were so hidden that we thought they didn't exist and I scrambled under the table to use what appeared to be the only point.

The breakfast was good and tasty with plenty of choice on offer. The staff were very helpful and polite. There was a reasonable restaurant next door which was very convenient as the heavens had opened and it was extremely wet. The air conditioning in our room stopped working and when I reported it to the receptionist, he immediately moved us to another room where the air conditioning worked.
Had not realised it was a budget hotel with no frills at all, not even a kettle and drinks in the room and only one towel each for use in the bathroom. The cost of the room was a third more than we had paid for a hotel on the way to our holiday yet nowhere near as nice. The air conditioning, when it worked, was very noisy. There is a lot of reconstruction going on in Rennes but no one warned us of this either when booking or before checking in.

Not much the air con was good
No kettle in the room, hotel was dated and didn’t feel that clean, just had its day and for the cost would just do air bnb
