Great location to start a bicycle trip. Clean room with beautiful view. Huge parking. Fine breakfast.
A little too expensive, single room with breakfast almost 100 EUR. I also do not recommend pizza: it was... not perfect :)

Well located just on the highway side, ideal for a one night stay, nice view over the mountains, good restaurant on site.
Accept pets.
Not so cheap.

Easy to find. Quiet despite of being close to the highway.

I have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. It is a perfect location for mountain biking , skiing and hiking in Tyrol. The restaurants are very god and reasonably priced and the staff are exceptional.

I really enjoy staying here, the rooms are quiet and the restaurant food is great. The hotel is very conveniently located on the motorway and easily accessible to many areas of Tyrol for skiing, mountain biking and hiking. Lovely views from the rooms at the rear of the hotel and walking or bike riding too. The staff are great.

The hotel is located at the best spot in Zell am see, near everything.
Breakfast was good but without much variety for Muslims.
Staff was nice and helpful, they helped us with the luggage, and also recommended the best places to visit in zell am see.
Zell am see summer pass is really great, it includes most of the top attractions of zell am see.
Room was not equipped with the moderm amenities, TV was really old.

Easy convenient roadside hotel. Excellent bathroom. Gorgeous nature views. Fun art in the hallways. Great morning coffees.
Late night check-in was confusing. Seemed like no one was there. No cars in the lot. Had to go around the side into the convenient store. Took a little while to go through all the check in logistics. We were tired.

Convenient location near the main road but still set back from the road. There is a lane behind the hotel in the valley for a quiet walk. Traditional Austrian hotel with large bedrooms plus a balcony. Pizza cooked on site, nice self service restaurant and a good cafe. Have stayed here twice and would stay again.

right on the bike path; room had very comfortable bedding; surprisingly quiet considering location.
right on highway, food options are expensive and unappealing, closest alternative is a mall 3 km up the road.

One of the best things that happened to me two years ago was stumbling into the Trofana Tyrol as a fallback guest after a long journey from southcentral Austria. The small hotels in the villages en route were full while the downtown ones in Innsbruck were either shut for the night or so expensive that I could not justify the expense for what would be an in-and-out stay. So I decided to sleep in my car at the next autobahn rest area. Much to my surprise this particular rest area happened to have a hotel, and they happened to have one room left on this busy August night. I took it with a degree of trepidation, as in America motorway rest areas are not known for anything but desperation stays. My fears seem to be confirmed on rolling my little suitcase through the Eni shop and into the darkened concourse. I crossed an aerial bridge atop that concourse also in darkness, and figured this was going to be a bad night but definitely better than sleeping in my car. But when I put my key into the large wooden door the wonderfully warm world of Austrian Alpine hospitality unfolded before me, as though I were miles away from anything but mountains and fresh air. My room was clean and snug with a large window that opened out onto the mountains and framed a view of a softly illuminated church steeple atop one of the crags. There was a bottle of wine with two glasses, a small card with chocolates taped to it and a close-by TV with wide range of German, French and English stations. With toasty heat and piping hot water to boot, and not one sound I could hear beyond the birds in the morning. I have since been back to the Trofana Tyrol 5 times, always asking for the same room although I have had different ones on two occasions which were equally cozy and one of which had a walkout balcony too. The petrol station shop operates 24/7 meaning you can pop down for food and drink as you please, with a coffee bar that makes the perfect place to paper-read or people-watch in the...
ere’s a delicatessen offering (very tasty) custom-made sandwiches and a concourse giftshop with a range of local delicacies (“Schuettelbrot” – or spiced flatbread – being one of my favorites) plus the usual traveler trinkets. There is also a concourse restaurant with such choice and upscale food (buffet and individual order alike) that you will again forget you are in a highway rest area. Best of all is the ease with which you can continue your onward journey upon departure, as you are (quite literally) on the autobahn – no drilling in and out of cities if you are pressed for time. I’ll be heading back here again next month, as a destination in and of itself.

The hotel is great, not amazing. The location on the water however is perfect. THe restaurant is a dream and the staff, especially the gentleman covering both hotel & restaurant, fabulous.

Nice premises, well located on the side of the national road but facing the mountains. Ideal stop for one night.

Quite old hotel, same building in the gas station. The price is too high for such a location and hotel quality in general.

Convenient location to explore Tyrol from with the easy access to the highway. Room was clean en big enough, but nothing special.
Breakfast was expensive (+- €15) because it was part of the highway restaurant. Same for dinner.
