The room was actually a small flat. Clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the enclosed restaurant is absolutely a must. Great quality food and excellent service.
Additioanlly the location: you can reach a lot of big ski resorts within 30-40 min drive!
No sauna or gym available at the property.
The location is very remote but is part of its flair!

Every know and then you visit a hotel where the surroundings and overall atmosphere simply match in the most comfortable feeling. This is such a hotel.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and nice rooms, in the most beautiful surroundings.
Easy parking as well.
I should have stayed for more than one night.

This property was in a beautiful location. Picture perfect scenery and adorable little courtyard to enjoy the area. The castle ruins were neat and so was the chapel. The room was basic but comfortable. This would be a good place for a religious retreat or reset.
We didn’t realize how remote the location was (our fault) and we rode our bikes up the steep hill and realized once we got there that there wasn’t anywhere to eat as the hotel restaurant was closed. We were too tired to travel 30 min back down to town. Bring snacks if you are checking in late! The remote location definitely wasn’t a bad thing, as it adds to the charm. You just need to be prepared.
