We had a very good stay at Pondok Baruna Frangipani, the location is definitely one of its biggest advantages. It is very convenient.
One area that could be improved is communication regarding the transportation services offered by the hotel. We had been in Bali for more than a week and stayed at two other hotels in a similar category, and both were very communicative and welcoming before our arrival, always offering information and assistance.
We were not informed in advance that the hotel offers complimentary transportation for guests traveling with Setia Ferry from the Setia drop-off point, so we ended up paying for transportation that we could have received for free.
There was also some confusion regarding transportation to the port on our departure day. We had initially been told that the transportation would be complimentary, and no time restriction was mentioned. However, the day before our departure we were told that the complimentary service only started at 9:00 a.m. This was the first time we were informed of that restriction, which was disappointing, as we would have appreciated knowing this from the beginning so we could have planned accordingly.
Fortunately, someone from the hotel came to speak with us, apologized for the confusion, and kindly offered us the complimentary transportation before 9:00 a.m. We really appreciated how they handled the situation and resolved the issue.
Cleanliness is another area that could be improved. The towels developed an unpleasant odor when they became damp, and the pillows also had a noticeable smell, which made them seem quite old.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, particularly because of the excellent location and the staff’s willingness to resolve issues when they arose. With better communication before and during the stay, as well as some improvements to the linens and cleanliness, the experience could be even better.

Lovely hotel. Well appointed,very clean,spacious room with outside terrace. Excellent breakfast with great choice at the Sampan Restaurant which we also ate at for evening meal on both nights of our stay. Superb. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic value for money. Hope to return some day.

Very central location in Nusa Lembongan. Staff are friendly and responsive. Tue room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a pick-up and drop to the port which was really convenient.
The breakfast was nice and had a lot of options but taste was, it could be better.
There was an issue with the room’s door locking system and it was hard to lock it most of the time. No laundry service in the hotel.

Great location. Beautiful boutique resort. Big rooms and huge bathroom. Yummy restaurant next door with 10% discount.
The pool smelled very chlorinated. Be careful sitting in the white sun lounges. They flip easily and I ended up falling in the garden with the sun lounge on top of me. It didn’t hurt as lounges is very light which is why it tips so easily. But worth noting as you could hurt yourself. Also you can hear the music from the restaurant but it didn’t bother us and was off by 10pm.
