The location is fantastic, in the middle of the jungle. The lodges (and the restaurant) are beautifully crafted and decorated, like works of art. The staff is extremely friendly, and offers lots of exciting and interesting tours of the impressive nature around the lodge. You can also hike around the area yourself, or climb the observatory tower. The restaurant offers some very tasty dishes.
We liked everything! While the lodge lacks some facilities (e.g., air conditioning, swimming pool), we liked this "back to nature" vibe a lot.

fantastic breakfast, great service and setting. Not sure there is any need to travel to Drake Bay when you can drive yourself to this oasis of beauty. We saw Cayman, numerous frogs, monkeys, macaws. Great fixed price 3 course dinner. Lovely dining room setting and amazingly few mosquitos! Rooms are amazing - 'outdoor' bathroom is an experience to love!

It was magical. Clearly a labor of love. The staff was terrific, the food exceptional, the tours of the highest quality. The craftsmanship - buildings, trails, whimsical sculptures throughout the property - gave the place a unique charm.
