Friendly accommodating staff. We arrived very late Diego the cook has a fantastic meal for us. They prepared bag breakfast for our early morning tour. Many animals in the property
You do need to drive between villas and the lodge becase of the steep slopes

Excellent location
Arrived at the Villas and met by Richie at the gate. From that point things went backwards fast.
1) The Villa assigned to us was not per our booking which was 1 Double, 2 shared singles and a spa. Got 2 doubles and no spa. Richie apologized and indicated that the booked Villa was assigned to another couple who he would request to move then next day alternatively we could cancel and find other accommodation. Pura Vida nonsense.
We tried to book for dinner that evening and could not contact the kitchen. WhatsApp’d instead and on arrival at 7pm was told because we had not booked by 2pm no food could be provided even though we had a hungry child of 5. Had to get takeouts which arrived at 9pm.
3) The villa had a scarcity of glasses, crockery and cutlery. No bread knife even. No coffee, no sugar, salt or anything to really support a self catering unit.
4) Bedding was atrocious with a pillows that could have been rocks with a pillowcase covering. 5) Dustbin emptied, bedding and towels changed only after 3 days.
6) Breakfast bulk standard 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon /ham fried alternatively, 2 pieces of toast no butter and only white bread and the knives were sharper on the upper edge than the cutting edge. If you miss the 7-8am window - no breakfast. Coffee cups small enough to be used as shooter glasses and the juice a watered down apple juice.
7) In a positive note the location is stunning with ample birdlife and tropical vegetation.
