Me and my fiancée, Erin, stayed at Kythnos Bay hotel while visiting Kythnos island at the end of August 2026. Our experience was amazing and only have positive memories. The hotel is beautifully located by Loutra next to a beautiful bay overlooking traditional boats and the beautiful sunrise & moon. The hotel is very clean, has spacious rooms, great Greek breakfast and private parking. The area has everything a guest can ask for, from bakeries, souvlaki place, supermarket, fish tavern, coffee places etc! However, what makes a visit and a place unique and memorable is the people. The wonderful people at Kythnos Bay Hotel made our experience so unique with their kindness and authenticity which is pure Greek Hospitality or as we say in Greece, Philoxenia (literally translates for Friend of Foreigners). Kind staff was the only good thing in this hotel.
Absolutely overrated and no value for money. Expensive for no reason.
The rooms are basic and too small.
The “mountain view” is in reality “parking-space view” which is a field with sand and some garbage on the right corner.
Food and drinks at the hotel are a joke.
Breakfast is basic and the space crowded.
