This small, charming hotel sits right in the heart of Prague. The atmosphere is absolutely unique — it feels as if you are staying in a little room in a castle, almost like a guest in a fairy-tale kingdom.
The location is simply unbeatable. You walk through the hotel’s archway and find yourself right on the Old Town Square, next to the Astronomical Clock.
The room had everything we needed: clean, comfortable bedding; fresh towels; slippers; coffee capsules and a coffee machine; tea; and even lovely macarons. We were also offered a bottle of wine upon arrival, which was a very nice touch.
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but this is hardly an issue given the fantastic central location. The reception also offers cookies, tea and water, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants just outside.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
A lovely place with a truly special atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.
Breakfast was not huge in terms of choice, but everything we tried was tasty, and we easily found enough for a good breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Caroline Old Town Square Hotel in Prague.
From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and genuinely friendly welcome. As we were staying on their very first day of opening, the hotel kindly surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture.
The hotel itself is beautiful: a brand-new complex, carefully designed and exceptionally well maintained. The covered and open-air courtyards are particularly charming, creating a peaceful, romantic and almost magical atmosphere right in the heart of Prague.
Our room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and decorated with a lovely romantic style. Every detail felt carefully considered and made the stay very comfortable.
The staff were kind, welcoming and always happy to help, making us feel truly well looked after throughout our stay.
A wonderful new hotel in a fantastic location, with a unique atmosphere and excellent hospitality. We would absolutely recommend Caroline Old Town Square Hotel and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Prague.

The location
When we arrived at our destination the receptionist informed me that I had to go to another location to pick up my key but when we arrived there the receptionist at that location informed us that the first receptionist could have given us the keys but didn’t for some reason and encouraged us to mention this fact. Also I had requested for a double bed but it turned out that there were two twin beds placed together so there was a wooden barrier in the middle. There was no water boiler in the room to make tea and the only bin was a tiny one in the bathroom.
