Without any doubt, the location is great. 10 minutes to the metro station, and between 5 - 10 minutes to the city centre. The building itself has a long history and interesting history. The building itself is more than 500 years old, so knowing I slept in the same room that somebody else did 450 - 500 years ago is pretty cool. The ceiling consists of wooden beams which contain art from cca. late 1500s from an unknown Prague's painter, so laying down on the bed looking at painted wooden beams almost makes you travel back in time. Minibar with several snacks and drinks options available.
The mattress in our room needs to be changed, on my right side i literally felt the slatted frame below it, it completely thinned out, and I am not sure how that is even possible. Also, the WiFi was very, very weak on the second floor. That problem is easy and cheap to fix, just install one or two Wi-Fi extenders per floor. It will make guests happier, and it will not cost the hotel a lot. The streets below are pretty wild during the weekend, and the noise will reach your room. However, I feel as if this should be expected when booking a hotel in the city centre, so I am not portraying this as a negative trait. That would be like booking a hotel next to the highway, and then complaining about the car noise. It should be expected. Other than the aforementioned, great place to stay!

The room was big and spacious, the hotel was very clean, 24h reception, location wow! They were accommodating of requests.
Would generally recommend
The stairs ( we were duly informed before hand).
The staff could be a tad bit friendlier.
An egg as an addition to the breakfast buffet would go a long way.
