Loved the room! Large, very comfortable bed, good hairdryer, plenty of space. Breakfast was also particularly good too.
The furniture in the bar is a little bit dated and worn out, but I expect they will replace it at some point.

Close to Dunston Hall where we were attending a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff we met were friendly and efficient and the food we had was tasty and good value for money.

Bedroom was very clean and comfortably sized for a couple of nights.
Food in the restaurant was poor quality. Steaks were overcooked (and definitely needed the sharp steak knives which were provided) but waiter did not appear to ask how the meal was until after I had finished and then provided a glib answer when I complained. No WIFI in the bedrooms and no opportunity to get a WIFI extender from the hotel.

The staff were mostly friendly and polite.
We were greeted by a lovely receptionist, full marks to her.
The bed was super comfy.

Plenty of parking.
Tea tray topped up (after asking ) daily and room , towels etc replenished, cleaned.
Toiletries good quality .
Bin emptied daily.
When we asked a couple of staff working on laptops for more towels and a teaspoon as only one in room, they looked at us like we had asked for gold!
The paint needs re doing, the bathroom badly needs redorating , shampoo dispenser was broke and left that way.
No streaming services, for the price of the room this should be standard, breakfast should be we felt in the price but wasn’t.
Only one teaspoon, no complimentary biscuits.
