The host is excellent. Communication is excellent, clear instructions for check in/check out. Cannot fault the host at all. The property location is great, the space in the apartment is great. The view to the dome of St Peter’s Basilica is something quite special.
The housekeeping/cleaners are letting this property down and general maintenance issues. The lounges desperately need to be replaced, sitting on them is extremely uncomfortable as the one closest to the TV seems to be broken. The bathroom showers were not cleaned well. Towel hooks broken, broken lights or some not working and a picture hanging in one room has broken glass still in it.

The accommodations and location were excellent however, the pictures on the website did not depict the unit that we were in. The unit we were in was more modern, which was OK, but just wanted to note that the pictures you see here are not pictures of our actual accommodations.

Le Cupoline is in a great location with views of St Peter's Dome. It is easy to get to the Metro and walking distance to many of the must-see sites and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. The 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious for our group of 4, and it was great having an elevator for all the luggage. The aircon was great for the hot nights. We had a busy time in Rome fitting in as much as possible.
The apartment was not particularly clean, especially the floors, as they were all visibly dirty and had obvious accumulated dust. There was thick mold in our bathroom above the shower, and both toilet seats needed fixing. The beds are all very hard, so it was not a comfortable sleep at all. The kitchen facilities have had a pretty rough time. It would have been good to have a tea towel to dry dishes. The hot water was inconsistent when having a shower as often cold. This was disappointing as we had just come from a fabulously clean apartment in Siena.
I have let the property manager know about these issues, and she was going to contact the cleaning company as it needs a big clean and maintenance.
