Staff is very nice and although there was an issue with our booking (double bed but got one bed), they were accomodating and provided us extra duvets. We also got dinner from the bar and it was decent. Plenty of parking and a nice walk to center of Pitlochry.
I agree with previous feedback that the place could use an upgrade. The rooms were a bit outdated and not all electrical outlets were accessible. There was a weird smell near the dining area which we believe was from old carpet cleaning.

Comfortable and well presented.
Limited flexibility for early check-in, we arrived an hour early and were told that the room was not yet available. We were able to wait in the bar area however so were not inconvenienced.

Clean, comfortable room, but certainly nothing special.
Historical building has some charm (its stately facade, and original woodwork in the lobby and staircase, for instance), but it's clearly been quite a while since its last refurbishment (e.g., carpet seems coming apart in many places). All the photos online would have you believe this is a swanky hotel; in person, not so much.
