A place worth stopping at in the middle of Los Cristianos

the location is very good. Everything is close. If you like music in the evening it is usually quite good (from the hotel on the other side of the road). It stops at 10.30. In the house there are several pubs and a nice fish and chips store. I like the atmosphere and will choose apt Funchal the next time I visit Tenerife. The cleaning of the surrounding areas is very good and the room was in good order when I arrived. Nice pool when it is too cold to go to the sea.

I haD a problem with a foul smell in the bedroom and that affected the clothing hanging in the wardrobe. Mould in the bathroom near the roof. My guess is that it comes from the fact that it’s very damp (maybe because of an outside leak from the pool, as I did not have that problem when I stayed on the top floor in the main building at my previous visit). This time I stayed in the center building at the bottom floor. I talked to the management and was told they are working on it. I wish them success as they have started to refurbish all the apartments. One more thing is that you have to pay €50 to get a cleaning done while staying there. That’s new since my last stay and a pity.

Awful very labouring and disappointing.

The pool

All the stairs as I am disabled,the beds awful,the balcony no sun at all,the lack of clan towels,the lack of clean bedding,the terrible caravan kettle and toaster, the washing machine broke,the lack of crockery,the lack of cutlery,the bathroom not fit for disabled person,the settee uncomfortable,above the bed was a shelf that was only inch’s above your head which every night you hit your head.

The rooms could do with a bit of a makeover. Also room above the bars are noisy till about 1pm mainly due to the bar staff’s inability to clear up quietly

The Property is in a great location. All requests were dealt with quickly. Great staff and facilitys are all I hoped for. WIFI Great. Value for money is great.

Shower Tray fills up and maybe needs proper unblocking. Not a big issue. On the whole this is a great place to base yourself for Holiday in Tenerife.

It was very conveniently situated. The apartment was small but well equipped and spotlessly clean.

The sun beds were a bit boney. But the pool area was quiet and relaxing. And the bars under the apartments would serve us beer in plastic cups to drink by the pool.

me and my PREGNANT girlfriend was kicked out for complaining about blood on the towels Wi-Fi not working and a Sharp Kit

nothing- was a lot smaller than the photos, blood on towels, no English tv channels, Wi-Fi didn’t work, had a knife holding the gate open, which could have hurt a kid badly

the staff was very rude as soon as me and my girlfriend complained about blood on the towels, no Wi-Fi and the sharp knife holding open the main gate to the complex. soon as we complain we went to the beach and I received a message from booking.com that Funchal had cancelled my booking with 3days still to do and my girlfriend who’s pregnant! they kicked a pregnant woman out for nothing!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Pleasant

Due to the disagreement we had with Anali would rather not give a review about our stay there, we are in Tunisia st the moment and the Tunisians are 1000% more friendly and genuine than the Spaniards, do not forget we lived in Benidorm and had a business there for 11 years so are very clued up about Spain!!!!

Great location, good value for money, not a hotel!!

The location was superb, very close to all amneties like local shop, supermarket, restaurants, lively pubs etc. Also beach within walking distance of maybe around 10 minutes. Basically in centre of all shops etc. Swimming pool had a deep end although it isn't the biggest of pools, however always a bed available and peace and quiet. Overall good value for money if not looking for hotel standards and services. Lady who checked us in and seemed to take care of everything around the place was extremely warm and welcoming. Lady watering plants and cleaning all around public area and pool was very nice too.

The two single beds in the bedroom were a nightmare and I almost ended up on the floor several times during the night. Mattress also not comfortable at all. No air con was a bit of a pain however I don't mind being warm so wasnt too bad. If you're sensitive to noise, which I'm not thank God, while sleeping, please note the apartments are right above lively pubs and bars and right across from a hotel which has live entertainment every evening therefore noise is bound to be heard at least until 2 AM which is not a fault of the Funchal Apartamentos (nothing the can do about it unfortunately). On one occasion when we ran out of a few essentials like towels, toilet paper and shower gel, when asked for them at reception we were quite directly informed that this is not a hotel and shower gel cannot be got (it was in our bathroom from the previous occupents) we were given the towels and toilet paper.

Very good located Security good. The pool was ok.

No air conditioner.Hot during the night. Very noisy because of the bars from the groundlevel of the buiding and the trafic during the night.Very hard to get some sleep. The interior îs old. No soap în the apartament. The internet worked bad. Cleaning was only changing towels once a week.

Clean apartment

The location is ok about 10 mins away from the beach and the apartment was clean when we arrived.we stayed in room number 115 which was away from the bars. We did enjoy our stay

Apartments are old but clean so they could do with a makeover. If I would have paid top price for it I would have been disappointed. Our bedding and apartment was only cleaned and our bedding was only changed once in the two weeks we were there.
