Location: well located, easy to reach on foot from the train station, and an easy walk to the old town and the cathedral and river.
Cleanliness: Room is clean, very basic as per standard Ibis Budget.
Air conditioning: In summer in southwest France, I have learnt that this is non negotiable. The air con worked fine; the overnight temperature was pleasant.
Noise: Could hear doors slamming at night — I believe it was from upstairs, and also footsteps. I really disliked this because I’ve stayed in an Ibis Budget in Geneva before (PalExpo) and they had cushioned floors, which must have helped with the acoustics overall, because it was one of the quietest hotel experiences I’ve had.
