Location was fabulous: right behind Cathedral Saint-Cecile and Berbie Palace and entrance to the Musee Toulouse-Lautrec. 1 minute walk. Plaza to the side had tourist office and restaurants etc. Everything else is walkable.
It should be made clear that one is actually staying in a bedroom in the owners’ apartment and they are living there with you. The room has a lock. The bathroom was across the hall, a WC room and a sink, plus shower room. The owners bedroom is on the same hall. They show you the TV room on that floor and the marvelous upper living-dining space with adjacent veranda overlooking the 2 main sites and an adjacent kitchen. But you cannot use these spaces. If you buy breakfast from them, which is a persistent hard sell by them, you can come to the veranda to eat it. Otherwise, you do not even have a cup to drink water, which we asked for since it was a very hot day. You cannot make a tea or coffee or keep a cool drink since there are no facilities in the room for such.
The room was a decent size and there was a decent closet.
There is an elevator.
You are told there is free parking and they will show it to you when you arrive. There is no specific parking. You have to find, very difficult to find parking and pay for it. There is too little parking for so many visitors. You may have to park quite a ways away.
The linens did not seem fresh. The towels had an odd odor and the under sheet was stained. Pillows were half full. The shower had mold. The other parts of bathroom seemed clean.
There was too much pressure to purchase their breakfast. Even after saying no, they kept asking why not and calling or texting to ask again.
While trying to get ready in the morning, the wife accosted me in the hall with my wet hair to insist on the 2 euro city or ? tax. In addition to my surprise seeing her, she couldn’t wait until i finished getting ready.
