I was unable to contact staff, not the staffs fault, but unable to identify staffs attendence only from 14.00 hrs on my mobile phone, so was left outside in the heat in the street. Compounded by slow to zero contact thru Booking .com

Clean, functional room with very comfortable bed. Big basin and good shower.
Location is right in the middle of town, but room is quiet due to inward facing windows.

Wonderfully central in an old building of character.
As soon a I stepped in the damp smell was very strong to me. I think this could be fixed with daily airing. I found the room cold so an extra cover would have been helpful.
