The hostel was very conveniently located. You can walk basically everywhere in Nîmes within 20 minutes, with many things more like 10 minutes away. There is also a bus stop very close by (2 mins) that takes you further north if you get tired of walking. There was a grocery store about minutes away. The staff were all friendly and tried to be helpful when I had questions. The air con was nice and cool. Showers hot and good water pressure. Elevator was very helpful after a long day of walking around. Check in and check out was simple.
The one window was broken and there was a sign saying not to attempt to open it. Such a shame to not be able to open a window on the nice cool nights after hot days! On one occasion I asked staff how to get to Pont du Gard, a very popular site nearby. No one knew how to get there, which I found strange as many people visiting Nîmes go there. I also found possible cockroaches in my room, three total on two different nights. One big, two babies. To be honest, maybe I should have said something at the time but I knew that because of summer holidays and arena concerts that there would not be other accommodations for me. So I just kept an eye out for others and made sure to hang all my belongings on the clothes rack or keep things in sealed plastic bags.

Location to railway station. Comfortable, quiet, clean.
Great staff, nice bar on premises. Great rooftop area to relax to watch sunset.
Breakfast was average. Coffee and croissants nice enough.

The location is fabulous, just a minute walk from the station and very nice if you are travelling by train.
Air conditioning is very comfortable! The staff is nice too.
As its near the station, you can hear the train and announcements even when the windows are closed. Avoid if you are not a deep sleeper and easily woken up by noise.
