Great venue and Location. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Food we tried was good.
The room we were originally offered had no wardrobe or anywhere to put clothes. No fridge and very basic. Ok maybe for one night! …the room we eventually stayed in still had no wardrobe or hangers. Housekeeping was non-existent. No replenishing of towels, tea, coffee etc and bins emptied. We were there for 5 nights and there was no attending to the room at all!

The room is so lovely! I think it's recently renovated and everything looks very new. And the noise doesn't go to the room that much so it was very nice!
The food was yummy with a great portion as well.

We stayed here during the Canungra rodeo! It's a short 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to the rodeo. I was very impressed with the remodeled rooms and bathrooms within our room. Very comfy bed, nice bedding, and brand new bathroom with good water pressure.
The kitchen for the hotel closed a little earlier than we thought it would at 8:30 pm, so just something to be aware of if you're going to be out during the day and maybe getting back a bit later, you'll want to grab food while you're out.

Location was in the middle of everything. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Bathroom very well appointed.

Exceptionally clean and the friendliest staff you will ever meet. Quiet at night. The most comfortable bed ever. Good shower pressure, the area is green and lush and only 30 minutes to the water. We had a wonderful time, thanks guys. Andrea and Denise.
There is a staircase to the beds, but they have good hand rails, and although I arrived in a moon boot,because I broke a bone in my ankle the staff helped me with my bags and were courteous and kind. We will be back

Great atmosphere, lovely comfortable room, excellent mattress gave a great nights sleep.
No rear carpark access to the upstairs bedrooms.

The hotel was clean, cozy to stay and has plenty of parking. You can also dine in the restaurant and sip some wine at the pub. It is refurbished beautifully and what a wonderful experienced to be part of a historical place like this.

No bar fridge in room (shared fridge in common room not my preference) or any literature about hotel or surrounds including wifi password etc.

Always a great location and a pleasant place to stay. Nice to see the rooms have been newly renovated
No bathroom door, privacy is necessary and the showers water was hard to adjust the water to a comfortable temperature towels are old and no longer fluffy.

The room was beautiful, like a step back in time, but with aircon. Very comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom. We absolutely loved it and will be back for sure.
Only dislike was that we only stayed one night

Breakfast not offered but enjoyed breakfast at a cafe. The decor was well done and sympathetic to the era.
More pillows to choose from would make it more comfortable. Mattress pretty ordinary.
Unable to have a coffee in the morning because a Large group had used all cups in the evening before. Perhaps coffee cups could be put in the rooms so this wasn’t an issue
An allocation of tissues in the room would be a nice touch.

Food was lovely
Very disappointed with the lack of respect of fellow people staying, very loud. I found one of your staff members quite rude the body language received from her was appalling everything asked of her was looked upon as if I asked her the world just not friendly and accommodating. Most staff were pleasant except this one. She had dark hair and really straight past her shoulders.

Great location to stay if doing hot air balloon - pick up right out front

The property was double booked due to a disconnect between Bookings.com and the Hotel. I don't blame anyone and stuff like this happens. We then had to find another place to stay late on Sunday afternoon, around 30 minutes away.
I did try and contact the Hotel earlier in the day to book/confirm, but was unable to reach the reception/bar area, being put on hold by the restaurant (I had booked a table for a meal and had to cancel also), who I must say were very helpful and pleasant.
I will stay again as I like the region and the pub. (I wish I could write this without the review affecting the hotel's rating)

A sink in the lounge would be useful to fill the kettle etc, but this is a small matter (we were glad to have a place to make breakfast before we hit the road)
