Beautiful place to stay
Internet was still being sorted out while we were they. Internet reception wasn’t great on my phone so hard to hotspot

The host was wonderful, made contact with us prior to our arrival to confirm details. The rooms were wonderfully spacious and well appointed.
Our stay was very comfortable and keen to return for a longer stay.

A lovely and extremely comfortable room positioned in a quiet peaceful cul de sac and only a few minutes walk to the heart of Canungra.
Suzanne the hostess was lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great location, very quiet and an easy walk to Canungra (assuming you are happy to go up and down a few little hills). Suzanna, the host, is delightful and very welcoming including a courtesy call the day prior to touchbase and advise we could check in early if required - which was very welcome due to having an afternoon wedding nearby. The room and bathroom are great sizes and the bed is very comfortable.
Attention to detail in a couple of small areas would have been helpful - e.g. the tissue box was empty, milk in the fridge would have been nice, soap for the shower would have been good (there was shampoo/conditioner and liquid hand soap for the hand basin however the latter was in a glass bottle and felt unsafe for use in the shower). I found the pillows very soft but that's just me - my hubby liked them!

Birds in the bush and the quite. We were close to the Pub for dinner and they produced a good menue at reasonable prices. Staff very helpful when we went to enquire about the missing owner of the B & B.
We arrived at 4pm and the owner was not at home. We phoned the land line we had (There was no mobile phone number the Pub told us it was disconected) After the call was picked up by an answering machine we heard this at the front door we sought help at the Pub. About an hour latter just as we were agreeing to stay at another B & B the owner responded to my call. She had been at lunch with her son. She apologised and said she had left a message on how to access our room but unfortunately the call was left on our answering machine in WA. We did pick up the call on our return home. Breakfast was early because of the owner having to go to work by 8.15am. We used our kettle from the room for our second cup of coffee as the dinning room had no water or kettle to provide us with the service. The breakfast was enough for us and consisted of avocado, tomato, various types of bread we could toast, yoghurt and the usual jams and honey.

Our stay was a bed and breakfast. Anything more then a bed, bathroom and breakfast, is a bonus.

It was really quiet there but still easily within distance to be able to walk around town. The room was really comfortable and it felt like a place I could really relax between other things I was doing.
I couldn’t have felt more welcomed and looked after by the host. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable.

Message received to say my room cancelled with less than 24 hours notice despite having the reservation booked weeks in advance. Owner didn’t actually cancel on booking.com so it looks like I have been. 3 weeks after the booking, I still haven’t received a refund and owner is dodging all contact with me and customer service. New owner is shocking. Avoid.

It was perfect for that weekend getaway. Quiet, secluded and great atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again. The host was brilliant. Thank you so much.

The renovated rooms are amazing and the host Suzanne was delightful.
The only thing we could fault if anything was the pool was a little green, just needs a good bomb with chemicals and some algae scrubbed off the sides. Did not stop us swimming though, it wasn't bad but it could be improved on for sure.
