Everyone in staff spoke English in addition to Japanese. Everyone was very friendly and kind. The place is very nice and receptive and they also gave us detailed idea about the places that we can see nearby and helped plan out trip in detail. That was great.

- Very nice staff, available and ready to help for any questions/advice
- Clean
- Common area is quite spacious, they also have few desks to work if needed
- A bit far from the station (20/25min walking), but very close to the main shopping/restaurant street and the temple
- The room with the beds is really really small: the beds are really close to each other and there is not enough space for the luggage or even move when other guests are in
- The beds have a “light” and thin curtain which doesn’t cover fully, so light can pass and you’re not fully “protected” from others’s view
- There is only one shower (but there is a sign up system if needed to avoid long waiting time)
- Humidity smell at the entrance, due to shoes and stuff drying

Excellent location near the main temple. Nearby bus stops for access to anywhere in town. Strong Wi-Fi and very friendly, informative staff.
The building has wooden floors so it creaks whenever you walk. Everyone just needs to be mindful when walking because of noise. Also the bathrooms are on the ground floor so you have to walk down narrow stairs since most rooms are upstairs.

100/10 experience in Nagano, the staff alone make this stay so amazing! Their knowledge of not only the surrounding community but also day trips from Nagano is outstanding! I will definitely be back!!
