Central location, paid private parking (needs reservation), friendly staff. It was great to have a fridge with ice compartment in the kitchenette, particularly since the room was rather hot (over 25C and no A/C) even if outside the temperature was under 20C.
The apartment with one full bed and one sofa bed did not look like its photographs. There were red metal stools (with a hole in the middle) instead of night stands. The curtains and the sofa bed look worn out and should be replaced. The flat-screen TV was not a smart TV and had no international channels.

I visited Cherbourg because of the movie, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and I chose this hotel for a parking lot.
My wife enjoyed the town and visited the umbrella store to see pretty umbrellas.
We end up buying two beautiful umbrellas and the store staff provided me the VAT tax exemption form that I received refunds. Very nice town to visit.

The additional payment that we all had to pay whwn we got to the hotel. It should have been inculcated in the original booking
