Clean facilities, comfortable bed & pillows. Great shower pressure. Friendly, & nice atmosphere. Definitely stay again.
We stayed in colder weather so should've asked for an extra blanket.

Great location!!!!! Great price for a small place popular with tourists. We stayed in an ensuite room and it was a nicer room than your usual backpackers room! We appreciated having a fridge in the room and a TV.
Typical of many popular NZ locations free car parking is hard to find in the town centre. This place has a few parks. You can park behind other cars in the driveway and the owner said to leave your car keys with him if you go out on foot and he'd move the car to let someone out. This system seemed to work well and we managed to get our car up the drive all 3 nights!
