Hotel Sahrai

The hotel is stunning, it has a lovely pool, nice restaurants of different cuisines and the staff were really friendly. The pictures don’t the hotel justice! My friends and I would definitely return.

The gym is currently being renovated but they have moved some of the equipment to another room for guests to use them there.

The property was very modern and beautifully furnished. Very Zen!. The staff was very helpful and the Jungle resturant was excellent. Great food and great views !.

Our stay at Hotel Sahrai had many positive aspects, although a few issues unfortunately affected the overall experience. The team was very attentive on arrival and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to two suites next to each other, which made our family stay much more comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, with great views over Fez, and we spent a lot of time by the pool. We especially appreciated the fresh towels and fruit skewers offered in the afternoon. However, the pool itself could be better maintained, as leaves accumulate in the water throughout the day. The location is great for the views, but definitely not for walking. The immediate surroundings feel quite intimidating and are not pedestrian-friendly, so in practice you need a taxi whenever you want to leave the hotel. The food at Medusa is excellent — the pizzas are honestly better than many I have had in Italy, and the pasta is also very good. However, the service can be disorganised and inconsistent. Finally, although late check-out was not possible, we were allowed to use the pool until departure and shower in the spa afterwards, which was very helpful and appreciated. Overall, a beautiful and comfortable hotel with excellent food and some lovely touches, but the service and handling of the duplicate charge did not fully meet our expectations.

The service at Medusa is disorganised and inconsistent. I was also disappointed to discover only upon arrival that the spa is no longer associated with Givenchy, as this was one of the reasons I chose the hotel. This change should be communicated more clearly before booking, and I ultimately decided not to book any treatments. Our biggest disappointment was being charged twice for the same lunch at Medusa after trying contactless and then chip payment. We reported it immediately, but four days later the amount had still not been returned. Despite our card statement clearly showing two identical transactions at the same time, we were repeatedly told that we had not been charged twice and that the second transaction would eventually disappear. Mistakes can happen, but we expected much more proactive handling from a hotel of this standard.

Lebanese restaurant and Breakfast where amazing, Transportation staff too.

The room had a terrible shower and you had to watch out for not slipping due to the fact that the water was running into the bathroom floor, even after complaining a couple of times, it was not fixed.
