Wir hatten einen einzigartigen Aufenthalt im Karanda Chalet des Kalundewa Retreats. Die Anlage ist perfekt eingettet in die Natur, das Personal war überaus bemüht uns alle Wünsche zu erfüllen! Tagesausflüge nach Sigirya bieten sich sehr gut an!
Es ist klar, dass es in einem Vogel-Naturschutzgebiet die Geräuschkulisse hoch ist, aber es war schon sehr laut und die Affen/Flughunde direkt über dem Glaschalet zu haben, war manchmal schon ein komisches Gefühl!

Beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature. The staff were friendly, and the food was amazing. Perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The perfect getaway. The Kumbuk Chalet was just amazing, the bathroom needs a little bit of renovation but as long as it is clean it doesn’t really matter. The staff was really nice, they were very helpful when my bag was taken by mistake and investigated immediately, everything turned out well. Restaurant is very good and the surroundings are just so calm and relaxing.
Not a big deal but consider that they not serve alcohol.

Fantastic location especially for ornithologists.

It needs a deep clean and huge investment to bring the accommodation up to standard . I believe the new management have this planned. Once completed it would be an amazing hotel but at present it is grubby , especially the bathroom walls, glass and blinds .
