Room was spacious and clean. Staff helpful and polite - little English spoken, but phone translations effective. Very good location - 10 mins walk from Regional Bus and Train Station (includes frequent direct bus to/from Taoyuan International Airport); 5 mins walk from Taiwan Blvd and bus to CBD (#300 at No2 Market B/Stop); 2 mins walk from Taichung Park. Several local tourist sites within 30 min walk (Nantian, Confucian Temple, day markets, Taichung Historic Rail Station). Many local cafes - particularly of SE Asia communities. Two powerpoints with Universal Plug receptor.
Ceiling lighting created glare on laptop screen (when sat at desk) - but there are lobby benches for laptop work. Regional Express Train Services stop at Taichung Main Station, but the High Speed Rail Service stops 2 stations distant.
