Escape Beach Resort - New Look & Improved

Overall, a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Koh Samui! The restaurant was amazing, with a great selection of both Thai and international food. The shakes and drinks were also excellent, and we really enjoyed being able to have meals and drinks while enjoying the beach views. There’s honestly nothing like having breakfast with the beach right in front of you, it was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The location was perfect if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and away from the busier areas. The hotel is right in front of the beach, and the whole place has a beautiful tropical atmosphere. The pool area was also really nice and made it easy to spend the day relaxing without needing to go anywhere else. The staff were superb throughout our stay, very friendly, helpful, and always providing excellent service. Everyone was welcoming and happy to help whenever we needed anything. The option to have laundry done for an extra fee was also very convenient and especially helpful when staying for several days. One of the things we enjoyed most was how peaceful the hotel felt. It was a nice escape from the more crowded beaches of Koh Samui, and you could simply relax by the pool or beach while listening to the waves and the wind. At times, it genuinely felt like you were completely disconnected from the busier parts of the island. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the rooms were a good size, clean, and comfortable. Overall, the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the combination of the beach, pool, food, and peaceful atmosphere made it a really enjoyable experience. We had a really great stay and would definitely stop by again next time we’re in Koh Samui! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax while still having great food and beautiful views.

Everything was great overall! If I had to mention a few things, the first would be the location. It’s actually one of the things that makes the hotel special, as it’s hidden away from the crowds, but the downside is that accessibility can be a little limited. You’ll probably rely on Grab most of the time, although this isn’t really an issue. Another small thing would be the orange pool loungers, which weren’t the most comfortable for relaxing on for longer periods. The breakfast was generally great, although the variety and options felt a little inconsistent from day to day, apart from the bakery section, which was always excellent. Some mornings were amazing, while on other days, the selection just didn’t suit our preferences as much. Lastly, if you’re three people sharing a room, the extra bed is perfectly fine for a short stay or for a child, but for an adult staying for several nights, it might not be the most comfortable option, as the mattress is quite thin. These are all really minor points, though, and they didn’t take away from what was overall a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
