My husband and I have stayed at the Derwent Retreat on 3 occasions. The property is amazing! Three large bedrooms with fabulous views of the Derwent River. It’s like ‘home away from home. ‘
We have always found the hosts to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also liked the location near Mona and close to the city of Hobart.

Beautiful setting - very comfortable sitting room with lovely views from every room
Property is dated ,as acknowledged by the owners , but nevertheless very comfortable. However the bathrooms need to be updated and a dishwasher would ensure that all crockery would be thoroughly clean

Location was excellent.
Cleanliness, was put off by owners behaviour. Also we advised we were travelling with a pet however rat traps were still set for our stay
