this hotel does not deserve a 5-star rate.

1. We arrived at the hotel at 12:20 and, as the kids were too hungry, we went straight to the 6th-floor Chinese restaurant for a meal. To quickly have lunch, we ordered noodles, thinking they would be prepared the fastest. However, we had to wait until 1:20, an hour later, when the noodles were finally ready, and by that time, we were already angry and decided to leave. On that day, half of the tables in the restaurant were empty, so I believe the hotel has serious issues with restaurant management. 2. The hotel's swimming pool has been outsourced to some coaches who provide swimming lessons to non-resident guests. 3. The Wi-Fi in the rooms is very unstable. 4. The hotel staff lacks proper training, and they are unable to anticipate customers' needs. The hotel layout is extremely unreasonable; the check-in counter is on the 5th floor, yet not a single staff member informed me of this. I went to the 6th floor for a meal, then returned to the 1st floor, only to be told about the check-in being on the 5th floor. 5. The restaurant that serves breakfast has a children's playground, causing an extremely noisy dining environment.

Fantastic experience! Indeed instagramable 🥰👍

Everything about this place was fantastic. The location 10 minutes walk to the beach, across the road is a high end Shopping Mall, subway station at the hotel entrance. Breakfast buffet filled with varieties of Chinese and Continental food of choices. As a foreigner was able to communicate with the outer world on WhatsApp and WeChat which I wasn’t able to do in other hotels in China due to internet restrictions.

That my stay ended at this fabulous hotel😒

can be better, especially for the tidiness.

The staff is very helpful, special thanks to the room attendant James Guo. He managed to clean my room promptly when I complained to FO that the room was still very dirty while I first came to the room after check-in.

The room wasn’t cleaned up well.

Very nice despite the initial problem

The Club lounge package was very good value for the dinner meal and drinks. The Suite was very nice and clean and the TV had a good package.

The only blight was when I arrived at 3pm the room wasn't ready. I left for some shopping and when I came back at 4:30pm the room still wasn't ready. Check In was at 3pm and I was annoyed as I had seen many people check in before me. I explained my displeasure and they found me another room.

Exceptional

Every thing was perfect. Super wonderful. Loved location. Good breakfast. Very good food in lounge.

There was one staff on front desk made me freak-out. Because of this person I avoided to go breakfast even front desk. And I will stay away from this place for very long time. And marriott bonvoy will think next time for other locations.

highly recommended for business trip, convenient location and good service

location is quite good, just approx. 500m walk distance to "5.4 square", even the trip time is tight, still able to squeeze couple of minutes to take a look and enjoy the view. Room is big and comfort with all the necessary facilities, lounge drink and buffet is a bonus, it worth the price. Staff is extremely nice, much better than Westin Beijing.

Breakfast, although with sufficient food choice, but not well organized the location, bit difficult to find what one want.

-Payment: Without me signing any credit card bills, the hotel charged my account directly including 3000 RMB deposit upon arrival. -Staff: Front desk staff did not handle the issue, didn't cancel bill. -Upon arrival: staff incapable of answering telephone calls regarding green code. -Room: leftovers from previous guests in shelves -Hygiene: gym floor dirty as a subway station platform -Executive lounge: Tables not cleaned after guests left, glasses not restocked. --> unqualified staff.
