Great location around the corner from the best surfing and plenty of board rental options. Staff was super helpful and welcoming. We had a private room and bath and it was very efficient and clean.
I wasn't able to enjoy the hammock area to relax due to unpleasant smell. All else was very good at this hostel.

I stayed only one night.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood. No shops or supermarkets around. The central street is 10-15 minutes walk. The beach is very close, like 5 minutes walk.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and spacious.
The outside area is very pleasant to hang out, the pool is nice, although the water were not cold enough in my opinion. Nice outdoor showers (with colder water:).

The hostel itself is beautifully decorated and furnished. The garden invites you to relax. A paradise in the jungle, close to the beach. The breakfast was great and huge!
The beds are comfortable. In general, the hostel was very well organized with the colors of the towels, food boxes for the fridge for each guest and things like that. But…
First of all, I didn’t like that I paid more than I had to according to booking. I paid in colones and not in US dollars (as USD is not Costa Rica’s currency…). When I asked what the price would be in colones, they made me pay something between 10-15 USD more (I don’t remember the exact amount). Unfortunately, I realized that later on when I calculated my expenses.
I slept in a dorm with 4 beds. There were ventilators for each person but the room is definitely way too small for 4 sweating people. It smelled bad and was everything but comfortable.
