We came here with my wife for 2 nights. In general we've enjoyed our stay as we did not expect too much from this hotel. Location is in some kind of a sleeping/industrial region of Amsterdam, but pretty close to Central Railway Station. Free of charge ferry brings you there in 7 minutes, with sailings every 15 minutes during day and once in half an hour at night.
We did not asked for a good view room, but got actually a room in 2nd floor with a partial view to the channel.
Breakfast was very good, as in any Hilton hotels. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is small, but in general it was pretty conveinent.
Negative:
1. Price was higher, when we tried to change a dates for 2 days later (still within the middle of the week). However 2-3 days before our check-in, booking,com infromed about price decrease for 123 euro down! we've choosen prepayment and was not able to cancel our booking/price. However feel ourselve quite foolished due to this. When arroived in the hotel. reception girl said that it is fully booked and there is no price declrease... But we know it ois not true. As we've got 100 euro compensation from booking for price decrease. When asked, we've got replied that there is no discount, no upgrade of the room possibilities. Ok, we can live with it. But bevare when book, check prices just before the check in dates and try to get booking with possibility to cancel it for free and get a new room at lower price.
2. during rain or wind a very big window is shaking and making a scarry sounds. AC was seems working on sort of economical mode, so it was pretty high humidity in the room and air quality is not the best,.And if you open a window it became noisy and even more high humidity. Perhaps because the weather during our stay was almost every day rainy.
3. Another huge problem is a soundproff, or should we say its absence... Problem is that building is made of concrete cement and so bathrooms are forming sort of a huge cement tonnel throughout all the floors. Sanitary pipes inside of it as well as all the communications channels in the building seems are made of a plastic and so during night and especially in the morning hours, when you are in bed, you enjoy a contemporary conceptual noise concert, including flashing water, falling down from upper floors with someone's shit. It wasn't too much enjoing. Sorry, being a happy pearents of 5 kids, we're more a fan of a piece and silence during night and morning... if you know what iI mean...

- Clean.
- Location is near the ferry.
- Breakfast is good.
- Large windows, nice view.
- There was a festival close to the hotel which was very noisy. Sleeping before 11pm was not an option. The hotel informed me about this through a message a few days prior my arrival, but they didn't give the option for rebooking or cancellation (or even a complimentary drink, to make sleeping a bit easier ;) ). Had I known this, I would not have stayed here, because the noise was really bothering me.
