The B&B is located in an old city hours, which is in excellent condition. The room was spatious and everything seemed reasonably new, also the bathroom. The location is as central as it gets. Elisa (the host) prepared a great breakfast every morning. I felt truly welcome at her house. You really notice that this is a small B&B, not a hugh hotel with dozens of anonymous guests.
The only downside of the place is that it was a bit loud, in the weekend also at night. My room was facing the narrow street. There are nearly no cars, but the acoustics transported every noise of the whole street directly into my room. Closing the windows helped with that, but it is a pitty to sleep with windows firmly shut in the Italian summer :)

It is a wonderful location, a half block from the square. The host recommended some wonderful restaurants that did not disappoint!! Breakfast was also great - you all sit around one big table and I got to know some lovely folks as a result.
Only one thing, and it comes with travelling in Italy - my room didn’t have air conditioning. It was a hot day and night. Nevertheless, with both windows wide open, I got a decent night’s sleep. I think the other rooms have AC…but the planning commission said this room doesn’t need it because it’s on the shady side of the house and has an interior courtyard. The host said she applied for it every year, but it’s an historic house, and the commissioners are very conservative.

The location was amazing - just off the Piazza Duomo. We had a large bedroom with private bathroom just outside the room. Everything was perfect and very clean. All the staff we spoke to either in person or via the internet were super friendly and helpful.
