The location was superb. David and Debra were lovely and very approachable. Loved our early morning chats and the breakfast was superb. All our friends have said that they would stay at the New Hall Bank hotel in the future. We will be visiting again and we will use the New Hall Bank hotel as our base for future visits to Ambleside. We highly recommend New Hall Bank hotel for anyone who needs to stay in this location. Free private safe parking was great too. Well done David & Debra you both have an amazing hotel. The view from the bedroom window was beautiful of the lake David and Deborah where very helpfull in recommending placers to eat very friendly couple the cosy double room was very clean comfortable bed loved the little touchers such as a facecloth to remove your make up bonus for us ladys lovely view in dinning area looking out onto the lake having your breakfast loads of parking spacers so no worries if you go out for day you no you still will have a space when you get back later loved to have the option to check in earlier at no extra charge in a excellent area very close to the lake and all the shops and pubs excellent guest house will be going back there very soon hopefully .
To be honest there wasn't anything that we didnt like .

David and Deborah amazing hosts,very friendly and approachable .breakfast cooked to perfection. We were only there two nights but actually felt quite sad to leave. Our room was clean ,tidy with a newly refurbished bathroom which was lovely.. The icing on the cake was a lake view .Also had great onsite parking facilities.
Absolutely nothing. What is there not to like!
