The staffperson who communicated with us on WhatsApp was exceptionally responsive and helpful. It was a pleasure to interact with them. The suite was high enough that the street noise did not disturb us, even though we have a couple light sleepers in the family. That was a pleasant surprise, because we much prefer fresh air to air conditioning, if we can manage. The rooftop balcony was a cozy little place to eat and the cafe where the hotel breakfast can be eaten had very nice croissants. It was a shame we were only in town for the one day after traveling elsewhere in Sardinia.
The hike up from the train station and the center of town is rather steep, so if you plan to go to the apartment by foot with luggage, be forewarned.

Residenza Kastrum is a real gem - 5 rooms and we were lucky enough to get the Suite. Located on the top floor with direct access to the terrace - views from the Suite were superb but from the terrace it was a wow factor of the city and water on all 3 sides. Sitting on the terrace late afternoon and for pre and post dinner drinks were highlights of the trip.
Exceptionally quiet with all the facilities in the Suite you would want with daily Housekeeping of a high standard.
Our host Roberta was a WhatsApp away and answered messages within minutes.

My stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The suite offered a breathtaking sea and city view which made the experience even more special and relaxing. Waking up to such a beautiful view every day was simply unforgettable.
The residence itself was very comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with a peaceful atmosphere .A special thank you to Roberta, who was kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay.
Everything was perfectly organized and the service was outstanding. I truly had a wonderful time and would definitely return again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay with stunning views.

Excellent location in the Heart of the old town of Cagliari. Wonderful yakuzi bath.
There was no staff, only on line check in. Around the area only one little grocery shop.
